Rand (TCO)
Rand first hit the playa in 2003 and has only missed one burn since. This will be his 20th visit to the playa (including Renegade Burn 2021) and over the years he’s helped create and develop several theme camps. Most notably, he co-produced Mal-Mart for three years and the Bubble Lounge in 2009, 2014, 2018, 2019, 2023 and 2024. Rand has also participated in the LA Regional Burns, Bequinox, and is Bubble Lounge 2024’s liaison to the placement team—our BubLo Theme Camp Organizer.
Ree
Ree joined the Burning Man community in 2018 with her first regional in San Diego. Ree dreamt of going to “The Big Burn” at BRC but the journey seemed daunting and out of reach. A serendipitous meeting and fate brought Ree to Bubble Lounge in 2022 and the BubLo crew helped make her dream come true. Ree went to Burning Man! No longer a Burgin and freshly inspired by the playa.
Ree is now the co-producer of Bubble Lounge for the 2nd time in 2024. She is also bringing Mama G’s wildly popular Quickie Body Wash back to Black Rock City! Ree will wash the dusty bodies and souls through the interactive art installation originally brought to the playa by Mama G.
Adrienne Leyvas
Adrienne joined BubLo in 2023 for her first burn, and she did it like a seasoned veteran. This year, she returns as a co-lead for infrastructure, decor, and safety, ready to make an even bigger impact. She will be working alongside Rodrigo and Mikey to bring a new Lounge concept to life, creating a vibrant space for all to enjoy.
She eagerly anticipates returning to the playa, ready to share laughter and witness the joy on everyone's faces.
Kenta & Elise
Superpower couple Kenta & Elise joined BubLo in 2023 and return this year as the leads of our Interactivity team.
With a solid 12 years of BRC experiences behind them collectively, they bring a well-seasoned approach to helping make BubLo the best if can be. Their cosmic energy is of divine proportions! We’re thrilled to have them leading the interactivity of our camp and as ambassadors of our group of bubbly burners!
Rigby
How many years has Jonny been a part of our crew? It’s a blur in the most mysterious and fabulous ways! This year he shines a light on BubLo as its Lighting Lead and will make us glow like never before.
Jacob Casmir
Jacob returns to the playa as the Sound Lead for BubLo 2024. A veteran, yet borderline-competent burner of almost a decade, he is no stranger to the playa. A techno-oriented DJ and foot-soldier who’s infamously graced many stages and theme camps of legendary proportion, the wolf returns for another week in the desert, filled with dad jokes, Tylenol disguised as 5-HTP, and other things you didn’t ask for.
Inspired by themes critics have often deemed ‘morose’ and ‘macabre’, Jacob aims to unify the transformative with the masochistic in his music, visual art, and even his own life. Pushing boundaries, he seeks to elevate dystopian narratives through minimalist bleak soundscapes, hypnotic rhythms, and provocative visuals, examining the technicolor splendor of hallucinatory states through black-tinted lenses.
Rodrigo
In 2005, a very good friend invited Rodrigo to Burning Man for the first time. Rodrigo, however, thinking Burning Man was just a rave, declined the offer. The good friend then said, “I will buy you the ticket if you say yes to my invitation.” This good friend was none other than Rand Pate, the producer and leader of Bubble Lounge, and Rodrigo is now forever thankful to his good friend.
2024 will mark Rodrigo's 11th burn, and for the first time, alongside Adrienne and Mikey, he will be in charge of our camp's decor. Good luck, Rodrigo, on your new leadership role!
Bearica
No one seems quite so at home on the playa as this adventurous spirit! Bearica is our Mistress of Libations, and will wet your appetite and satisfy your cravings for a delicious beverage. You will accept the garnish of snark. You’ll love it. You’ll want more.
Mikey
Mikey is excited to bring doses of flair, ambience, and gaiety to the Bubble Lounge as part of the Decor crew along with Rod and Adrienne. Burnin’ brightly for 8 years, he first joined Bubble Lounge in 2018 and looks forward to adding some cozy and bubbly details to the lounge.
Nick
Nick joined us in 2023 and is a burgin no more! He left the playa with more than he came with and this year is contributing in inspired ways.
“Last year was my first year and it was life changing. One of my goals in life is to learn something new each day. I am a flow artist. I started to learn sound healing and will be providing sessions as one of my gifts throughout the week.”
Erik
This guy joined us in 2023 and comes back this year because, well, that’s what burners do! Erik gets things done and we’re thrilled he’s joining us again.

Erik is Co-Lead for BubLo Sound.
LeRoy
This man has been a major part of Bubble Lounge over the years. He first came to the playa in 2005 and has 14 burns behind him. Don’t let his gentle nature fool you. You’d have a challenging time keeping up with the shenanigans of this seasoned burner. You could know this man for years and still not hear all the amazing life stories he’s accumulated.
Guru is a big word, but if BubLo has one, it’s LeRoy.
Esquire
Burner OG Esquire Jauchem founded the Bubble Lounge in 1998, and co-designed theme camps and art structures featured over a dozen times in Burning Man’s prestigious Center Camp. He is one of the founding members and has served as the President of the Board of Directors, of the Los Angeles League of Arts. LALA is the official L.A. Burning Man organization and produces L.A. DECOM and BEquinox. He’s also served as a Regional Coordinator for the Burning Man organization since 2017. In 2018 Esquire handed over the reins of Bubble Lounge to the the current team behind it, remaining a valued advisor and participant in the ongoing project.
